Michael believes that women are more likely to confide in a hairdresser than a close friend because it is the stylist’s job to make them feel good about themselves.

“A hairdresser is on your side, they want you to feel fantastic and are often warm and sympathetic to your needs, he adds: “This inspires confidence and lowers the normal boundaries that might prevent you from confiding in someone.
