However, I would not suggest going there the day of your special occasion. Their prices are low enough to have a test run done. This way you can be 100% sure if you like it or not. The only disadvantage to going to the beauty school for hairstyling is that they can be sometimes slower than a salon. However, slower could be better in this case because they are really taking their time to make your hair look fabulous.

Do It Yourself: The first idea may have scared you, but the idea of doing your hair yourself may frighten you even more. This is idea that you can try for free. There are many instructions online and in books that tell you how to do your own up-do. Do not be afraid to play around with your hair when you have a free moment.
