David Beckham shows off latest hairstyle Becks is back with a new look barnet, sporting the latest do in a long line of famous hairstyles.

The former England captain is well-known for his variety of hairstyles with everything from a samurai style top-knot to street-credible cornrows having cropped up in the past, not to mention the infamous mohawk of 2001.



Now, the ex-Real Madrid star has decided to go retro with a classic short-back-and-sides with a modern twist, complete with a sweeping side parting.

The new hairdo was on full display at this week's Sports Industry Awards in London, at which Beckham was present with his wife, Victoria. The former Spice Girl recently made headlines by going blonde and was courting photographers with a neat crop of her own.

At 32 years old the days of skinheads, ponytails and hair-bands might be over but as a forward-thinking fashionista it's not surprising that Becks is still experimenting with his locks. He matched his latest trim with a sleek dinner jacket and silk cravat.

"I think I've had the same haircut for two years now and I was getting slightly bored," commented David according to ITV.

"You know it's part of something that I do."
