New blonde bob for Beckham Victoria Beckham has stunned onlookers across the world by sporting a brand new, blonde hair style.

The fashion icon has had her hair cut into a shorter, asymmetrical bob complete with honey and caramel-coloured highlights.



She told the Sun newspaper that her new style was "a sun-kissed Californian look", perfect for her upcoming move to LA with husband David.

The trendsetter has sported a range of looks over the years of her career, from short black bob to long and wavy, and it seems like once again, she is right on the money, according to hair colour experts Gary Hooker and Michael Young of salon group Hooker & Young.

"Victoria has a sixth sense in staying one step ahead when it comes to hairstyles. She led the way last year, and with this new look she continues to be at the forefront of fashion," they commented.

The Vidal Sassoon-inspired cut from the early 1970s works well with her bone structure, they explained, and a similar cut was recently carried off by Sienna Miller in Factory Girl.

"Victoria Beckham had a big influence on block colours over the winter months but the multi-tonal shades in the new style add more depth to the look," the pair added.

"The mixture of cinnamon and caramel create a relaxed feeling, while the blonde highlights give a summer touch."
