Quick Inexpensive Beauty Tips
By Jennifer Lachney

Almost every woman is looking for a few quick and inexpensive beauty tricks. A lot of those tricks can be done using products that most of us already keep in our household on a daily basis. Below you will find a list of different types of beauty tricks. Enjoy!

*Pour 1/2 cup of cornstarch into your bath water, stirring it around. This will help prevent itching due to the heat during summer and the cold during winter.

*To keep your feet soft during the winter massage petroleum jelly into your heels and the balls of your feet. Once you do that continue with putting on your socks and boots, or your favorite winter shoes.

*Preventing your bathroom mirror from fogging is quite easy. Simple wipe shaving cream on it or dry the mirror with a hair dryer using low heat.

*The new and old fad is to use fancy oils in your bath water. If you find that the oils leave a residue on your bathtub then you can use liquid dish detergent to remove it. Regular dish soap is designed to remove grease.

*Facials are perhaps one of the cheapest beauty tricks. Beat one egg white stiff, adding a teaspoon of honey. Apply the mixture to your face with a cotton pad. Allow the mixture to dry for twenty minutes and then rinse it off with a lemon water solution, followed by a final rinse of plain cold water. If you do this twice a week it can help keep your skin clear of acne, blemishes, and blackheads.

*Fix a broken tube of lipstick by heating the broken end with a match until it melts enough to press both pieces of the lipstick together. Allow it to cool in the refrigerator.

*To help relieve itching due to an insect bite rub a slice of lemon over it.

*In order to remove the smell of onions or garlic from your hands you can rinse them in cold water with salt.

*If you have trouble opening your cosmetic containers you can rub a small amount of petroleum jelly onto the the threads of the containers. This will help make it easier for when you open your cosmetic containers. Also, try the same trick on your deodorant bottles.

*If you find that you are allergic to fake jewelry there are two simple steps to do so that you can still wear fake jewelry or other metal objects. Wash the jewelry with rubbing alcohol and then coat the backs of the jewelry with clear fingernail polish.

*To stop a run in your stockings apply hairspray to it or dab some clear nail polish onto it.

*A cheap way of removing yellow stains from your teeth is to make a paste made of hydrogen peroxide and baking powder. Continue using it daily until your teeth are bright.

*If you own a pair of metallic shoes then you may wish to invest in a bottle of clear fingernail polish. If you apply it to your metallic shoes it will help prevent scuffs and shredding.

*Temporary highlights on a budget can be easily achieved. Simply brush powdered blush through your hair and then seal it with a hairspray. The color choices are endless!

*If you want to keep your clothes free of moth holes you can place small baskets or bowls filled with dried rosemary stems and flowers in your closet.
